   <div class=\"row-content\"><p>One of the key areas of the OECD\u2019s work is implementation of various initiatives aimed at the development of education systems. The OECD conducts large-scale international education studies, such as PISA, PIAAC, and the Survey on Social and Emotional Skills (SSES), which serve as the basis for evidence-based policy recommendations and reforms needed to improve education systems across countries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n                                                    <div class=\"block-content-row\">\n                                                                    <div class=\"row-sidebar\">\n                                        <h4 class=\"row-title\">OECD educational projects in Ukraine<\/h4>\n                                    <\/div>\n                                                                                                <div class=\"row-content\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2016, Ukraine joined the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), which aims to evaluate education systems in about 80 countries by measuring competencies of school students\u2019 academic performance on reading, mathematics, and science. These skills are essential for life and learning, but not directly linked to mastering the national curricula. PISA provides unique data to inform education policy decisions and allows countries to study and learn from the practices of high-performing education systems. Between 2019 and 2024, the OECD conducted the first international Survey on Social and Emotional Skills (SSES), with Ukraine among the participating countries.
